SWK – CHIMNEY LINER SYSTEM
They protect the inner surfaces of ceramic chimneys (exhausting wet fumes from oil and gas fired appliances), from the destructive functioning of acids.
Chimney liners are made of acid-resistant chrome-nickel stainless steel sheet (type 1.4404 according to DIN 17441) of thickness range from 0,5 to 1,0 mm. Their standard application is fume extraction from gas and oil fired heating devices, working in negative preassure conditions. These types of chimneys are resistant to corrosion process caused by acid condensate, produced during burning process.
Advantages:
- acid-resistant, especially against sulphuric acid
- much lower resistance of fume flows in comparsion to traditional brick chimneys, because of small roughness of the surface
- possibility of applying chimney liners inside buildings, in lately built chimney duct, as well as during the renovation of the old ones
- simple mounting process, without the necessity of demolition works
- wide possibilities of system configuration
- wide range of products, possibility of making non-standard products
Usage
- to protect the inner surfaces of ceramic chimneys (exhausting wet fumes from oil and gas fired appliances)
